The Vision of the draft National Aquaculture Strategy is to: Contribute to achieving sustainable economic development in Palau through environmentally responsible aquaculture. It lays out the rationale for 5 specific objectives. The strategy was produced with assistance from the FAO.
This “Reference Manual” is the No. 3 of the FAO Pacific Farm Management and Marketing Series. Its content is based on material developed for FAO funded technical cooperation projects in Vanuatu, Palau, Fiji and Papua New Guinea as well as material prepared by the Agriculture Management, Marketing and Finance Service (AGSF) at FAO Headquarters, Rome.
